Well this is the first issue we completed via email! Hope you liked
it! It's also the first issue that came out a month after it's last
issue! I don't know if we can do it again! In early July I'll be
moving to Ipswich (Hi Mammoth!) so the move may cause some problems and
maybe a delay but if I'm truly a sadist then I suppose I could try for a
late June release of issue 15!

Don't forget also that apart from articles and clipart and the ever
essential feedback, if you are good with graphics then why not try and
do a loading animation saying "Carnage presents" or a loading picture
saying "The Word #xx".

I know there may be a few bugs in this issue, hopefully Amida has
covered everything in his changes article. I don't know as I haven't
received it at the time of typing this. However one bug I noticed was
the fade-out routine on the loading picture wasn't updated for a HAM
picture so if you look quick enough it goes green for a sec! 8( The bug
in the last issue where the main menu selection bar was ghosted onto an
article screen was fixed after The Word 13's initial release so if your
copy isn't fixed, just include an extra disk to the Word Diskback
service asking for "Word 13 Fix archive" next time (ie. 3 disks and
still 2 stamps).

If you send extra disks in your send asking for issues of The Word that
are not due out for a while then I'll hold that jiffy back untill they
are then send it.

If you really really want to know when the latest issue of The Word is
due out or any info on The Word in general then all I can suggest is for
you to send email to:

                  P904938@tees.ac.uk SUBJECT: TheWord

If the date you wish to email me is after the 15th July 1997 then I'd
wait untill the next issue is out and the new email address is listed.
