|1-A COMPRESSION BREAK-THROUGH!
$ff4
$ff6
$fd0 Some pretty god damn inportant news from
$fb0 BootBlock/TerraForm

$fff
Oh me Gord! Oh me bladdy well Gord!
$fe7
Ya never know what I've just stumbled upon, do yer? Oh, maybe only the
best compression technique on the bluddy planet, that's all!
$fd7
Well, actually, it isn't a "compression technique" as such, it's just a
pretty sexy new file-format I'm just doing (I'm coding/designing it
$fc7right now infact).

At the moment, it can only "compress" pictures. I'll start work on one
for textfiles. I don't think one for executable files will work.
$fb7
Right then, I suppose I'd better get on with it (by the way, I'm coding
it in Blitz Basic 2 - v2.10) in a minute.
$fa7
The resultant file containing the picture can also be incorporated into
your source code, if you want it to be. Maybe I should include
$f97encryption options ? Hmmm....

This appears to be pretty much the perfect file-format (maybe), so if
$f98you want/need any features added to the file-format, then write to
me: $fdb

                             N.E. Lincs
$ffd DN31 1UR
                             England
$eec
Soon I could be getting a phone, so of course I'll be getting an E-Mail
address.
$fff
I *WILL NOT* give out the source code - yet!
$9fb
Hey, if D!ck gets into PeeCee coding (any news on Blitz Basic for
Windoze?), maybe he'll code the PeeCee version if he wants to.
$9fa
Anyway, I'll get back to the coding, here's what you've been waiting
$9f9for! ....

$ff6
Okay then, time for a table of statistics (wahey!) - but remember,
$ff7things may change wildy, as these filesizes (for my file-format) are
only after about 5+ minutes of coding (read as "farting about") :

  Pretty good, eh? :)
$fd5
Maybe there might be two files per picture. 1 containing the picture
$fd6information, and another containing palette information. Or I could
$fd7include the palette info into the pic info file - although this will
$fd8make the filesize quite a lot bigger than it originally was.
